Park North Real Estate
Hello & welcome to my web-site;
I have a very simple business philosophy: I am always working, I am honest and I will aggressively represent your interests to the best of my abilities.
I have a broad range of professional knowledge from strategic planning, operations management and streamlining procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, expert knowledge of finance and banking, contract negotiation, knowing how to ramp up/down a start-up business, relationship development, keen managerial skills and a full range of real estate (commercial, residential, leasing, HOA and property management) experience. I am always working; I enjoy what I do, and I do it very well.
My hometown is Palo Alto where I graduated from Gunn High School in 1982. I hold a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara in Political Science ('86).
Before becoming a Realtor in 2001, my career was in corporate accounting; starting at Wachovia after college in 1987 and working my way up to my last position in that field in 2002 as Controller for Mayan Art, a multi-national jewelry manufacturer based in Miami with three maquilladores (factories) in Mexico.
I live and primarily work in San Francisco; specializing in the sale, leasing and management of mid-Century condominium homes in the Diamond Heights neighborhood. I am considered by my peers to be the Diamond Heights expert, and I am proud of that. I spend part of the year in Palm Springs and work in that market as my past clients retire to and/or buy second homes in the desert.
I especially enjoy working with and mentoring new agents; teaching them essential real estate skills, including, how to “farm”; hold an open house, contract negotiation techniques, effective staging and client inter-action. I recently completed a project with the Puerto Vallarta AMPI Chapter to modernize and professionalize its Multiple Listing Service and professional practices. Lately, I’ve been doing more volunteer work with the Episcopal Church.
